PROSTHETIC & ORTHOTIC SERVICES

 Landra Prosthetics & Orthotics provides custom prosthetic and orthotic services designed to improve mobility, comfort, and independence. We work closely with physicians, therapists, and patients to evaluate individual needs and provide appropriate bracing and prosthetic solutions. Services are available through our Monroe and Southgate locations, serving patients throughout southeast Michigan and surrounding areas.

 We provide comprehensive prosthetic care for individuals with limb loss, focusing on functional outcomes, comfort, and long-term use.

Services include:

• Prosthetic evaluation and consultation 
• Custom fabrication and fitting
• Follow-up care, adjustments, and repairs
• Ongoing prosthetic supplies and component support as part of continued care

Orthotic devices are used to support, align, or improve function of the musculoskeletal and neurological systems. Devices may be custom-made or prefabricated based on patient needs.

Orthotic services include:

• Lower-extremity orthoses
• Upper-extremity orthoses
• Custom and off-the-shelf bracing solutions

We provide mastectomy-related services designed to support comfort, symmetry, and confidence following breast surgery. Services are provided in a private and supportive environment, with attention to individual needs and physician recommendations.

Mastectomy services may include:

• Post-mastectomy garments and bras
• Breast prostheses and related products
• Fitting and follow-up support as needed

We provide orthotic bracing and prosthetics for pediatric patients with a focus on comfort, function, and growth-related considerations. Devices are selected and fit with attention to the child’s developmental needs and physician recommendations.

Pediatric services may include:

• Lower-extremity bracing for gait support and alignment
• Prosthetic devices for growing and ambulatory needs
• Ankle-foot orthoses (AFOs) for pediatric conditions
• Bracing related to neurological, congenital, or developmental conditions
• Ongoing follow-up to address growth and fit changes

Ankle-foot orthoses are commonly prescribed to address conditions such as foot drop, weakness, instability, or neurological impairments.

AFO services include:

• Custom and prefabricated AFOs
• Evaluation for gait support and stability
• Device fitting and follow-up adjustments

We provide advanced orthotic bracing for patients requiring additional joint control, stability, or alignment.

Services include:

• Knee bracing for ligament instability and arthritis
• Knee-ankle-foot orthoses (KAFOs) for combined knee and ankle control
• Hip-knee-ankle-foot orthoses (HKAFOs) when multi-joint support is medically necessary
• Hip orthoses when clinically indicated
• Spinal bracing, including scoliosis bracing primarily for pediatric patients, as well as postural and post-injury or post-surgical support
• Coordination of post-operative bracing needs when applicable

Post-surgical and rehabilitation bracing is often used during recovery following orthopedic surgery or injury.

These services may include:

• Cervical collars and neck support
• Immobilizers and post-operative supports
• Hip abduction bracing following hip surgery or injury
• Rigid removable dressings and Immediate post-op prosthetics
• Short-term or longer-term bracing based on recovery needs

Therapeutic footwear and inserts are designed to improve fit, reduce pressure points, and help protect the feet of individuals with diabetes.

Services include:

• Diabetic shoes
• Custom and prefabricated inserts
• Evaluation and fitting based on physician orders and clinical need
